So let's talk about the love of the Father first. I am going to let the Word of God show you how much He loves you.
First, this was Paul's prayer for the church. It is a timeless prayer and one of utmost importance. It is my prayer for the fathers, the mothers, the brothers, and the sisters, and all of our church and those that may be listening on the worldwide web. Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
No matter where you are in life, no matter where you have been and no matter what you have done, there is nothing, absolutely nothing that can stop Him from loving you. There is no one and no thing that can separate you from His love. Like Paul said in Ephesians 3:19 ''to know the love of Christ,'' when we really know the multiple dimensions of His love for us, it affects every area of our lives - our confidence in Him, our security, our prayer life - asking for things of a loving Father.
