Psalm 14:1; 1 Peter 3:15
INTRODUCTION: It's possible to doubt just about anything. A few years ago Fox television aired a program called Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon? Guests on the show argued that the 1969 moon landing was faked. They said that NASA technology in the 1960's wasn't up to the task of a real Moon landing. Instead, anxious to win the Space Race any way it could, NASA acted out the Apollo program in movie studios.
Conspiracy Theory pundits pointed out that pictures of astronauts transmitted from the Moon don't include stars in the dark lunar sky and pictures of Apollo astronauts erecting a US flag on the Moon show the flag bending and rippling but there's no breeze on the Moon. There are answers to all of the objections raised in the program. For instance, the bright sunlit exposure of the astronauts in the foreground would have precluded stars showing up in the black background. And the flag was moving as a result of the astronauts manipulating the flagpole into the lunar soil. But perhaps the strongest rebuttal to the hoax theory is the 841 pounds of moon rocks that the astronauts brought back. They are literally unlike any other rocks on Earth. For instance, moon rocks have almost no water trapped in their crystal structure and their surface is peppered with tiny craters from meteoroid impacts. This could only happen to rocks from a planet with little or no atmosphere...like the moon.
Just because someone doubts something doesn't mean it never happened or doesn't exist.

Three thousand years ago the Psalmist acknowledged, ''The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God''' (Psalm 14:1). According to a 2012 report by the Pew Research Center, people describing themselves as ''atheist'' or ''agnostic'' were 6% of the total U.S. population. According to a 2012 global poll ...
