INTRODUCTION: Why does a good God allow suffering? If God is all good and God is all powerful then why doesn't God do something about the starving masses of the world? If Cod is all loving and God has all power then why doesn't God stop the devastation of earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters? Again and again we ask ourselves the question why is there so much suffering in the world? There is much in the Bible which addresses the matter of the causes of human suffering.

I. PEOPLE SUFFER BECAUSE OF A FALLEN WORLD - Genesis 3:17-19
